The explosive growth of power batteries

Since last year, with the consumption boom of new energy vehicles, the power battery industry has ushered in explosive growth. In 2021, the installed capacity of power batteries in my country will increase by 142.8% year-on-year. The supply of power batteries is in short supply, and manufacturers have been in a state of rushing to work. This year's Spring Festival not only stopped work, but even the recruitment after the holiday was much earlier than in previous years.

In this Spring Festival, more than 90% of the employees of CATL chose left-behind enterprises to work overtime.

A power battery company in Qingdao, Shandong, is also running at full capacity during the Spring Festival holiday. The person in charge of the company told reporters that in previous years, New Year's Eve and first-year employees would have a holiday, but in this Spring Festival of the Year of the Tiger, the factory did not stop production for a moment. And from the second day of the new year, the factory started a new round of recruitment.

Starting from the second day of the new year, we will go through villages and alleys, and help us recommend recruitment through the Party and Mass Community Service Centers of each town, village and community in Laixi City.

In recent years, the maturity of my country's new energy vehicle products has been continuously improved. The China Association of Automobile Manufacturers expects that the domestic market will continue to maintain a rapid growth trend in 2022, and the market demand for power batteries is still increasing.

Increasing capital and expanding production is the top priority of many domestic power battery companies. As the leading company of power batteries, CATL has successively built new energy industrial bases in Guangdong, Shanghai, Fujian, Jiangxi, Sichuan and Guizhou since last year to provide guarantee for downstream demand.

Guoxuan Hi-Tech, which also ranks among the top ten installed power batteries in the world, currently has ten production bases in the country. Some of the bases in Hefei, Anhui, Tongcheng and Yichun, Jiangxi are scheduled to be put into production in the middle of this year.
