This passive system requires less energy while effectively managing sudden heat spikes. In advanced EVs, phase-change materials are often integrated with liquid cooling for maximum efficiency.

Recent advancements are driving cooling technologies toward greater precision and efficiency. Smart thermal management algorithms now leverage data from hundreds of sensors to dynamically adjust cooling during acceleration, cruising, or charging.
