Improving the thermal performance of the lithium battery can start from the two aspects of reducing the heat generated by the battery itself and improving the heat dissipation efficiency.
From one hand, most of the heat of the battery comes from the heat generated by the electrode during the charging and discharge process, so it can reduce the production of heat to the greatest extent by optimizing the design of the electrode. From another, good thermal management system helps alleviate the rapid heating up in the load process and improve stability.
For large battery packs in EV, TMS is very important. Also as a key component in thermal management system, LIQUID COOLING PLATE can heat dissipation efficiently via side cooling or bottom cooling. And there are four typical type of water cooling plates, they are punching cooling plate, stamping snake tube, micro-channel tube with manifold, roll bonding cooling plate.
